Installed across the three gaps on the lake side. They are low so as not to spoil the views but create a barrier to protect visitors and their dogs from getting too close to the water’s edge. They were constructed by volunteers over two workdays from wood grown at Darlands that has been cut either to create the works access or as part of previous coppicing work.
